*about me*

what will I say about me? That I'm from Portugal, 22 years old and that I love placebo? Yeah? So that's all.

Well, I made this section about me to explain (or at least try) why did I made a website dedicated to Stefan Olsdal. First of all, I would like to say this site is not only for Stefan, I think it would be really stupid to speak about Stefan and forget about the other Placebo members. So here you'll see tour dates, reviews, pics of the band (not like some sites I've seen that people cut the other members and we can only see Stefan). This is a site dedicated to Stefan but also to Placebo.

I met Stefan Olsdal back in the year 2000. It was the first time I saw Placebo, in Sudoeste Festival, and after the gig I decided to go buy a drink and it was when I saw Stefan's head. I was really surprised, so I decided to go meet him. So I showed up, asked for Brian (as an unconscious teenager). I can never forget the way Stefan looked at my t-shirt. I had the feeling I should have worn another. So, boys and girls, never wear a Smashing Pumpkins t-shirt when you'll meet Stefan. Better take it off (well, not so extreme). after looking at my t-shirt, Stefan asked - "Do you like this band?", and I said "YEAH!"... well didn't know he hated them. then we talked for a bit, not about Smashing Pumpkins but about another things, which I can't really remember... What I really liked about Stefan was his kindness, and that was why I went to all Placebo gigs in Portugal ever since. Sometimes I ask myself if I didn't meet Stefan if I would follow placebo like this. I dunno, honestly, but I'm really happy of being such a Placebo fan, because I believe they are getting better day after day.

I saw Placebo for the 7th time... 6 in Portugal, 1 in Spain. Hope to see them soon again.
